We have a range of both NEW & SECOND HAND books for all age ranges. We try to read all the books we have on our website, and so far, we have really enjoyed this particular task!
Our NEW books are published by Harper Collins. We chose Harper Collins because it has excellent ethical & environmental policies. Amongst other things Harper Collins are working their socks off to ensure:
- it produces a higher proportion, than any other trade publisher in the UK, of their books on environmentally-friendly book paper (Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified and recycled)
- they employ strong environmental management and operational principles to reduce energy consumption & make the company carbon neutral
- they seek books to publish on environmental themes which help inspire change in readers' behaviour
Our SECOND HAND books fall into two categories: "never been used" & "used".
We will ensure you that the quality of the books in these section are of a high standard. These books are beinging sold at bargain prices. In addition, all profit from the sale of these items will go to Children in Need.
