Little Wigwam placemats have been designed by teachers and will inspire children to learn. The images on this one provide a realistic view of our solar system allowing children to understand how vast it is. We believe that an understanding of the universe and where our planet fits into it is imperative to understanding why we need to look after our planet.
This placemat has comprehensive data sets for the "fact mosters" out there. The following information is displayed on the placemat
- Number of Moons for each planet
- Minimum/Maximum Temperatures of planets
- Diameter (miles/kilometres) of each planet
- Distance From Sun (miles/kilometres) of each planet
- Rotation and Revolution Periods of each planet
- Includes all the dwarf planets -Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake and Eris
- Planets and Asteroid Belt shown in order from Sun
- Relative Size chart

ETHICAL KIDZ REVIEW
This is the first placemat we have found that is eco-friendly. We have tried and tested this placemat on our own children (ages 3yrs, 5yrs & 6.5yrs) and they were fascinated by the images and what they all meant. The older ones were interested in knowing and remembering the facts, and they remembered a lot more than we did!! We learnt a thing or two and so did they.
