Wonderworld, as a strong advocate of protecting the environment, insists on using only rubber-wood that is of replenishable source. Rubber-wood is obtained as a by-product from culling of rubber trees in excess of 25 years old that can no longer produce latex of commercial application and need to be replanted with new growth; no deforestation is involved and every part of the tree is used.
The Wonderworld production process reuses and recycles waste. Wooden waste is used in the making of; particle board for the furniture industry; fuel-cube for traditional cooking; mushroom cultivation material; and incense stick production.
Wonderworld only uses non-toxic colour and lacquer to colour the wood. This is safer for children and better for the environment.
Wonderworld packaging is made from 70% re-cycled paper. 30% is virgin fibre from trees in plantation where framers replant what is used.
