This original, advent calendar has been handmade by Freda Rose. It consists of a strong 185cm Santa's Belt ribbon, 24 recycled envelopes (9.5X6.5cm) decorated with a sparkly silver number, 24 silver pegs. The Santa's Belt ribbon has a brass ring sewn into each end to allow the advent calendar to be hung vertically from a small hook or nail (not included). A small gift, sweet, picture, photograph or message can be inserted inside the recycled envelope & then pegged onto the ribbon either vertically or horizontally. As you get closer to Christmas & the gift boxes are removed you can use the ribbon to display Christmas cards. The gift boxes can be reused each year. The advent calendar comes in a strong, recycled gift box, tied with environmentally friendly ribbon, & would make a perfect pre-Christmas gift that can be reused.
