This original, advent calendar has been handmade by Freda Rose. It consists of a strong 175cm snowman ribbon,  24 recycled envelopes & 24 heart pegs numbered 1 to 24. The ribbon has a brass ring sewn into each end to allow the advent calendar to be hung vertically from a small hook or nail (not included). A small gift, sweet, picture, photograph or message can be inserted inside the recycled envelope & then pegged down the length of the ribbon. As you get closer to Christmas & the envelopes get removed you can use the ribbon to display cards. If you refrain from sticking the envelopes down you can reuse them each year. The advent calendar comes in a strong, recycled gift box, tied with environmentally friendly ribbon, & would make a perfect pre-Christmas gift that can be reused for years to come.
